Q: How much weight can the HoverHooks hold?

A: Each HoverHooks should have no more than 6.25 lbs each, because we don't want customers lifting overly heavy bins above their head. Thus, a large bin using 4 HoverHooks should be 25 lbs or less. This is more than enough capacity for almost all of your storage needs. If you have something really heavy, store it on the floor.

Q: Can I still use the HoverHooks if I don't have a drywalled ceiling and only have wooden beams?

A: Yes. You will use the installation tool to match the bin sizing and beam spacing at the same time. Also, if your beams are thin, each bracket has a centered divot on the backside you can drill out for attaching the fasteners to the beams. Thus, rather than using 4 screws per bracket you would be using 2 screws per bracket.

You will need:

1. 1/10 inch drill bit and power drill.

2. Screw driver (flat or Phillips head) or socket driver.

3. Hammer.

4. Step stool or ladder to reach ceiling.
